About Dog Beds Under £100
You don't need to spend a fortune to get your dog off a cold floor. But a bed that's flat by spring isn't the cheaper option; you just buy it more often. These dog beds under £100 all have at least one size below £100, starting at £69. The real differences between them are what's inside and how they're shaped.
One thing to know first: some beds here also come in larger sizes that cost more than £100. The price for each size is on the product page, so check the one you need.
Dog beds under £100, by what's inside
- If they are heavy or slowing down, choose memory foam, which keeps its shape under weight. Chatsworth is our lowest-priced memory foam bed: crumb memory foam, bolster walls and a non-slip base, £69 to £99 across three sizes. Buttermere is a 110 × 85cm memory foam mattress, 10cm deep, at £99. Haweswater's Medium is a memory foam dog sofa at £99. All three carry a 5-year no-flatten guarantee on the foam core.
- If they rest a chin on a firm edge: Langdale's Medium, 94 × 72cm at £99, has a foam base and a raised rim made from foam rather than loose filling.
- If they like to sink in, choose soft fill, cosy rather than firm. Troutbeck is a 110 × 75cm plush bolster bed at £69. Blea Tarn is a cream bouclé nest from £69.
- If they run hot or lie on cold tiles, choose no filling at all: the elevated mesh beds, Windermere from £89 and Bassenthwaite from £99, lift them clear of the floor and rinse clean.
How to choose at this price
Decide by how they sleep, then by what they need underneath. Fibre packs down under weight, so a heavy dog, or one who's slowing down, will get more from foam; if they are stiff or sore, keep talking to your vet too, because a bed is comfort, not treatment.
Then size, in centimetres rather than labels. A Medium on one bed can be bigger than a Large on another: Ullswater's Medium is 67 × 95cm, while Chatsworth's Large is 70 × 55cm. The size guide shows how to measure.
What you still get under £100
Spending less shouldn't mean taking more of a chance. Every bed here comes with the 100-night sleep trial: if it isn't right within 100 nights, we arrange free UK mainland collection and a full refund. One trial per household; damage and other exclusions apply. Free standard UK delivery on orders over £40, which every bed here clears.
Questions about dog beds under £100
Can I get a memory foam dog bed for under £100?
Yes. Chatsworth (from £69), Buttermere (£99) and Haweswater's Medium (£99) are memory foam. Langdale's Medium (£99) is foam with a foam rim. For the full range, see memory foam dog beds.
What's the lowest-priced large dog bed here?
Troutbeck: £69 for 110 × 75cm, the lowest price in this collection for a bed that size, with a deep-filled bolster all the way round. It's soft-filled rather than foam, so for firmer support look at Buttermere. More big beds are in large dog beds.
Why do some beds show prices over £100?
The collection includes any bed with a size under £100. Larger sizes of the same bed can cost more, and each size's price is shown on the product page.

Before you decide
The questions we get asked most.
Something we haven't covered? Ask us
How do I know which size to get?
Measure nose to base of tail while they are lying down, then add 15–20cm. Where a dog falls between two sizes, go up: sprawlers need the length more than you would think. Every product page has a size guide built from that bed's own measurements, with breed examples.
What does 50kg/m³ actually mean?
It is how much foam is packed into every cubic metre. Density and firmness are not the same thing: a low-density foam can feel firm on day one and still collapse by month six. High-density foam keeps its structure under repeated weight, which is why a 50kg/m³ core is still supporting hips and elbows years later.
You'll find it in the orthopaedic beds. The fibre-filled nest beds are built for softness instead, and each product page says which is which.
Can I actually wash it?
On most of the range, yes: properly, not just spot-clean. Covers zip off and go straight in the machine at 30°C, and on the orthopaedic beds a waterproof inner liner keeps wet coats, muddy paws and accidents away from the foam.
One exception worth knowing before you buy: waterproof-fabric beds are wiped clean rather than washed with detergent, because detergent strips the coating off the fabric. Every product page says which applies.
How quickly will it arrive?
Orders go out on working days, tracked from the moment they leave us. Order by 3pm on a dispatch day and it goes the same day; most then arrive within 1–3 working days. Tracking comes by email as soon as it's on its way.
Delivery is free on UK orders over £40. Below that, the delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
What if my dog just won't use it?
Then it comes back. Let your dog sleep on it for up to 100 nights. If it isn't right, we collect it free and refund every penny. Just tell us inside that window. It doesn't need to be unused: send it back slept-on, hair and all. Full terms are in our returns policy.
What does the 5-year guarantee cover?
The foam. Every memory foam bed carries a 5-year guarantee on its core: if it loses its structure under normal use in that time, which is the failure that ends most dog beds, we'll replace it. Covers, zips and liners are wearing parts and sit outside it, and the fibre-filled nest beds are built for softness rather than covered by the foam guarantee. Full terms are in our returns policy.
Will it help a dog with arthritis or stiff hips?
A supportive bed spreads their weight so pressure isn't concentrated on hips, elbows and shoulders, which is what makes lying down and getting back up harder for a dog with joint wear. But a bed is not a treatment and it won't replace veterinary care, so please keep talking to your vet. What it can change is the surface they spend twelve to fourteen hours a day on.
