Bowfell is 122 × 91cm and 18cm deep, with an L-shaped bolster along two sides and the other two left open, so they can lie the length of it with their back covered and layered foam between them and the floor.
On a bed this size the bolsters can swallow a third of what you paid for. Keeping two sides open means the footprint you buy is close to the footprint they use, and the layered foam is what stops a heavy dog lying on your floor through a bit of fabric. Measure nose to base of tail while they're lying down, then add about 20cm. Between two sizes? Go up. The size cards above list the sleeping area where we've measured it. Still unsure? Send us their breed and weight.
Most adult Labradors need the Large or the XL, and a sprawler needs the bigger of the two. Measure them lying stretched out, nose to base of tail, add about 20cm, and compare with the sleeping area on the size cards. If that lands between two sizes, go up: a bed that's slightly too big is never the problem, one that's too small always is.
