Care and washing
The cover unzips completely and machine-washes at 30°C. On our waterproof-lined beds a sealed liner sits under the cover, so wet coats, muddy paws and accidents never reach the foam core. You wash the cover; you never have to wash the bed.
The guarantee
Every memory foam bed carries a 5-year guarantee on the foam: if the core stops holding its shape inside five years, we replace it. Density is what that rests on. Our cores are 50kg/m³, which is the number that decides whether a bed is still doing its job in year five.
How our memory foam beds are built
Density isn't firmness. It's how much foam is actually in the foam.
Density is measured in kilograms per cubic metre. It is not the same as firmness: a cheap foam can feel firm on day one and still have collapsed by month six, because there was never very much material in it to begin with.
Every memory foam core in the PawLunova range is 50kg/m³. That is the number that decides whether a bed is still holding its shape in year five, and it is why we are willing to guarantee the foam for five of them.
This describes our memory foam beds. The specification in the buy box tells you what this particular bed is made from.
High-density memory foam core, used across our orthopaedic and memory foam beds.
Before you decide
The questions we get asked most.
Measure your dog nose to base of tail while they are lying stretched out, then add 15–20cm. If they are between two sizes, size up, because dogs that sprawl need the length more than you would think. Our size guide has the breed-by-breed detail, and if you get it wrong the 100-night trial covers it.
UK delivery is free on orders over £40 and £4.99 below that, normally arriving in 3–5 working days. Express is £6.99 at checkout and normally arrives in 2–3. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days and you get tracking as soon as it leaves us.
If Klarna is available on your order you will see it at checkout, where you can split the cost into three interest-free payments. The instalment figure shown on this page is the real one for the size you have selected.
It is the density of the foam: how much material is packed into every cubic metre. Density is not the same as firmness: a low-density foam can feel firm on day one and still collapse by month six. High-density foam keeps its structure under repeated weight, which is why a 50kg/m³ core is still supporting hips and elbows years later, and why we can put a 5-year guarantee on it.
Our supportive beds distribute weight so pressure is not concentrated on hips, elbows and shoulders, which is what makes lying down and getting up harder for dogs with joint wear. A bed is not a treatment and will not replace veterinary care, so please keep talking to your vet. What it can change is the surface they spend fourteen hours a day on.
On most of our beds, yes, properly, not just spot-clean. The cover zips off and goes in the machine at 30°C, and on waterproof-lined beds the foam core is protected so wet coats and accidents never reach it. Outdoor kennels and rattan pieces hose down instead. The care line in the specification tells you which applies here.
Then it goes back and you are not out of pocket. Let your dog sleep on it for up to 100 nights. If it is not the bed for them, contact us inside that window and we arrange the return and refund every penny. Full terms are in our returns policy.
They've given you every good year they had.
The least we can do is make the next ones easier to get up from.
