So the nice bed got ruined, and the dog got demoted to an old duvet by the back door. The Coniston ends that trade-off. It is a proper nest bed, with the deep raised walls dogs curl into and rest a chin on, made in a waterproof upholstery fabric that shrugs off mud, wet fur and the odd accident. When the walk comes home with them, you wipe it down in thirty seconds and it looks like nothing happened.

Most waterproof beds feel like something from the boot of a van. The Coniston keeps everything dogs actually choose a bed for: high sides to lean against, a snug sleeping well, a cushioned base under their hips. The practical bed and the favourite bed, finally the same bed.

Built for muddy ones, older ones and puppies in training.
Everyday dirt wipes straight off the fabric. For anything worse, the covers zip off and wash. And if your older dog has the occasional accident, there is no drama and no scrubbing. Wipe, reset, and their spot is still their spot. They keep their dignity. You keep your evening.

Stays where you put it.
A non-slip base grips wooden floors and tiles, so the bed does not skate across the room when they land in it. (If handles confirmed, add:) Two sturdy carry handles make it easy to move from lounge to car boot, so the good bed goes on the trip too.

The honest bit.
Waterproof fabric has one rule: never machine wash it with detergent, because detergent strips the coating. Day to day, just wipe it clean. For a deeper clean, zip the covers off and use a low or hand wash cycle with no detergent, then air dry. We would rather tell you this now than have you find out the hard way.
