Full description
Most dogs sleep differently in summer than they do in winter. The Coniston is built around that. One side is a deep teddy fleece for the colder months and the burrowers. Turn the cushion over and you have a smooth canvas surface that stays cooler and shrugs off muddy paws far better than pile fabric.
The outer is a slate canvas with a plush oatmeal lining, finished with oatmeal piping around the edge. It is a flat square rather than a bolstered nest, so there is nothing stopping a larger dog from stretching right out, and nothing to lose shape after a few months of being climbed on.
At 80cm square it suits Labradors, Springers, Border Collies, Cockapoos and most crossbreeds of a similar build. It also works well as a second bed for the room your dog actually wants to be in, rather than the one you put the first bed in.
The whole bed goes in the machine at 30°C. No removing covers, no zips to wrestle with.

Care instructions
Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Do not iron. Dry flat and reshape while damp. Give it a shake once dry to redistribute the filling.
