Cloud-soft on top
A deep faux-fur surface that's irresistible to sink into — the kind of soft that ends the circling.

The Carlisle Plush Square is for dogs that like to spread out — a generous flat surface, firm enough to stay supportive after months of daily use, with a plush cover that genuinely feels like it belongs on a good floor. Zip it off when it needs a wash. It's back on the same day.

Most dog beds get tucked behind the sofa when company's coming. This one doesn't. The Carlisle was designed backwards from the room: a clean pale woven exterior that belongs next to your furniture, hiding an interior that's pure indulgence — deep, dark, dense plush your dog disappears into the second they step over the edge. It's a footstool until somebody's snoring in it. The contrast isn't just handsome; the dark centre quietly absorbs the daily evidence — the pressed-in circle, the stray hair — until wash day.
The rounded raised edge runs the whole perimeter, giving nestlers a continuous brace for back and head, while the plush centre compresses around the curl rather than under it — contact on more of the body, pressure on less of it. The structured outer holds the bed's shape so the cradle your dog learns to trust is still the same cradle months in.
Right for: small and medium nestlers, style-led homes, the dog whose current bed is the worst-looking object in an otherwise lovely room. Not for: big sprawlers (see the Kendal) or dogs who overheat in plush (the Bowness breathes better).
Zip off the plush cover and machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Air dry flat — do not tumble dry. The foam base is spot-clean only. Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap; allow to dry fully before re-covering.
Does the plush flatten? — Holding shape is the whole brief — and the 1-Year Shape Guarantee is the receipt.
Too warm for summer? — Plush runs cosy; hot sleepers may prefer the Bowness.
French Bulldog size? — Per chart; Frenchies are nestlers — this is their lane.
